Content Moderation Policy

Prime Chapters is operated by PRIME CHAPTERS (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/529240/07. Prime Chapters is a South African friendship, companionship and social-connection community for people aged 50 and older, including people who turn 50 during the current calendar year.

What may be reported

Members may report profiles, private messages, public-chat messages, photographs, events and other supported content. Reports should be truthful and made in good faith.

Review process

1. The report is recorded with the relevant content reference and reason.
2. An authorized administrator reviews available evidence and relevant account history.
3. Urgent safety risks may be prioritized and temporary restrictions may be applied while reviewing.
4. A decision and action are recorded. The reporter may receive a limited outcome update where appropriate.

Possible actions

• Guidance or warning.
• Content removal or visibility restriction.
• Temporary messaging restriction.
• Temporary account suspension.
• Permanent account removal.
• Preservation or disclosure of records where legally required.

Immediate serious action

Threats, violence, fraud, scams, sexual harassment, hate speech, impersonation, sharing private information, repeated unwanted contact, exploitation of vulnerable members, underage registration, soliciting money or ban evasion may result in immediate permanent removal.

Fairness and privacy

Reports are handled as confidentially as reasonably possible. Prime Chapters does not promise anonymity where disclosure is required by law or necessary for procedural fairness. Retaliation against a reporter is prohibited. Affected members may use the appeal process.
