Subscription and Cancellation Policy

Prime Chapters is operated by PRIME CHAPTERS (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/529240/07. Prime Chapters is a South African friendship, companionship and social-connection community for people aged 50 and older, including people who turn 50 during the current calendar year.

Free for Life membership

Prime Chapters membership is currently Free for Life. Members are not placed on a time-limited trial and do not need to pay a membership fee to keep access active. Existing and returning members retain Free for Life membership, subject to account approval, moderation and safety rules.

No automatic membership charges

Prime Chapters does not automatically charge members for membership while the Free for Life model is active.

Cancellation choices

• Immediate cancellation: paid access ends immediately. Unused time is not refunded except where required by law.
• End-of-period cancellation: access continues until the paid period ends and then moves to limited access.

Limited access after expiry

On the day after expiry, the member may still log in, access settings, contact support, renew and request account deletion. Main social and membership features are restricted until an eligible plan is activated.

Payment confirmation

Memberships are activated only after PayFast confirms the transaction and Prime Chapters verifies the payment reference and amount. Members should keep the Prime Chapters and PayFast transaction references. Prime Chapters will never ask for a card PIN, online banking password or one-time password.
